Skyping with Kit, I explore the “something” in me that feels and thinks that the old tortured identity is to be preferred to awakening. It has been made a connection, it seems – it is “known”, “familiar,” “me,” “how it IS” – the path is well-trodden.
A few days ago, I believed in what Barbara wrote: The “evidence” of pain is simply “False Evidence Appearing Real = Fear. I was in an enlightened state of mind for about an hour or more. All was simple there – easy – free – joyful.
And then the “wham” comes, predictably – back in ego-perception.
Seeing the connection, made in fear, means that it is dissolving.

Who is back in ego-perception? Bring that witness to the stand. Things that are simply passing cannot be real. It is just a little misunderstanding:)

Some times I believe in “the little misunderstanding.” Ego-perception switches with right-minded all the time. I find that the most loving thing to do for me is just to witness when I am in ego and forgive that. Thanks for being here, Barbara! Please go on commenting.

Yes, that is the most loving thing we can do is to forgive ourselves for thinking we are separate from God. To forgive ourselves for thinking we are a body. To forgive ourselves for believing this world is real. Sometimes it is in seeing everything that we are not that we can see What We Are. Love to you sweet Nina!
